Cylindropuntia bigelovii aka Teddy Bear Cholla and Jumping Cholla. Small pieces of this cactus fall to the ground often, allowing for Cholla forests! The spines are barbed and do not come out easily, so please avoid handling this cactus without gloves. It is notorious for finding its way onto the arms and legs of hikers.
