Rubus chamaemorus aka Cloudberry, Knotberry, and Averin. Family Rosaceae. Native to the bogs and marshes of the northern world. Distribution map here. Hardy in zones 3-9 according to Dave’s Garden.

And yes! They’re edible! In fact, I’ve heard they’re quite good and make for delicious jam.
